Today welcomed the push of the temperature towards the 30’s. Good day for exploring so we took a wander to the nearby Value Village (pronounced vill arj – to make it sound tounge in cheek posh didn’t ya know?). There was a good proportion of guys stuff which I rummaged through for a while. Pity most of it just was rubbish. Pants even. I did manage to pick up a pair of brown velour trousers however so that was a superb bonus. You just can’t have enough velour trousers.
Next stop Chinatown to sort out something nice for dinner. We got the makings of a couple of nice fresh stir-fries. Must be the first one we have cooked in about seven months. Fantastically yummy completed with Tofu. So pleased we are staring to get into cooking tofu. We managed to leave out the mushrooms accidentally as we were too busy taking photographs of them!

Followed up dinner with some dessert. My first ever taste of Dragon Fruit. There was nothing to say where they are from but probably flown in all the way from Thailand. Extravagant living and a shot in the arm for carbon taxes but they just had to be tried. I don’t know when I will be able to make it to Thailand. Look at them they are amazing. Texture is a bit like a kiwi fruit. They are juicy and not so sweet so very refreshing. I can’t wait for the other half. It may not make it through the night.
